All of the lawyers who work with our program have received trauma-informed and anti-racism training.
The lawyer will be able to answer your questions and give you advice. Lawyers are not expected to do legal work or represent you through this service.

Call us at 902-218-6143 to request this service. Before we make a referral, we'll ask some questions to see if the service can help.
Provide some information
If we think the service can help, we'll ask you for information to give to the lawyer's office:
- Your full legal name
- Your phone number and email address
- Your home address
- The other party's name (if there is another party involved in your case)
- The name of any support person you plan to bring to the meeting
The lawyer's office needs this information to do a conflict of interest check and to contact you.
Make an appointment
The lawyer’s office needs time to perform a conflict of interest check.
When the check is complete, we will send you the lawyer's information.
